Adam & The Relevants began in the bedroom of the half Dutch, half Irish singer-songwriter Adam Quann. He formed a band to play his songs live, but the addition of the band members totally changed the style of his songs. Soon his folky tunes were morphing into a sound similar to early Oasis-style Britpop and raw American guitar pop by bands like Japanther and Smith Westerns. He blends these two influences together in melodic and raw guitar songs with incredibly catchy choruses, as can be heard on his EP VI, released last April.
