It was as if time stood still... that was the feeling at the Adrian Recordings office when they first heard the songs of Swedish singer-songwriter Alice Boman. They weren't planning on signing anyone new, since they just had an intense spring with a lot of releases, but then a sound engineer from Malmö played them some songs by an unknown singer he had been working with and before the song was over, Adrian Recordings had a new artist in their roster. She's a Billie Holiday for the 21st century, without the jazz. Her first EP "Skisser" was recorded at home and released in May, after which she performed both in Scandinavia and England.
