Angie is the daughter of soul and egotrip. Born in 2001, the French artist juggles R&B, rap and afropop with assertion. Inspired by songwriters like SZA as well as hip hop artists Stefflon Don, Makala and Ziak, Angie relates to a generation of artists whose bad bitches express their feelings and where making confessions rhymes with self-confidence. In 2023, Angie released 2 major projects: L'Amoroso and a common EP with French artist Lazuli, under the name ANGILINAZULI - which stands out as the only project by two female rappers in the history of rap music in France. Angie was supported by major French new talent programs such as iNOUïS du Printemps de Bourges and Deezer’s La Relève, and is now among the Konbini's 2024 Talents of Tomorrow.
