Sometimes life pulls a fast one on you, and that's been very much the case with Swiss balladeer Bastian Baker. Initially, Baker (born Bastien Kaltenbacher) dreamed of following his father's footsteps as a professional hockey player. Though he could certainly handle a hockey stick, Baker happened to be a pretty good singer as well. When producer Richard Meyer saw him perform by chance, he offered to produce Baker's cheerful nu-folk single 'Lucky'. We reckon by now, Baker can count himself a very a lucky man indeed.
