Indie rock singer Johannes Sigmond goes by the name of Blaudzun, a reference to an obscure Danish cyclist. The Dutchman debuted in 2008 with moving folk noir helped by a strong, melancholic voice. Over the years his sound has matured and he surrounded himself with a more than impressive band. Third album Heavy Flowers was a European breakthrough and Sigmond established himself as one of the most interesting Dutch artists. His recent fifth album features more magic, while the live show is one of the best you'll see during this Eurosonic.
