After winning the third season of Poland's Pop Idol talent show, Monika Brodka quickly developed a sincere, vivid style that catapulted her to bona fide stardom. She stood out from peers with a natural inclination towards stylisation beyond the pop idiom, applying elements of folk, alternative rock and electro pop into her music. Brodka's new LP is helmed by award winning producer Noah Georgeson, who also worked on albums by nu-folkies Joanna Newsom and Devendra Banhart.
