Hailed as one of the artists that changed the face of Dutch music and paved the way for hiphop acts to the charts, and festivals, and even the mainstream. Broederliefde is made up of five young guys from Rotterdam who started to attract attention by releasing tracks and mix tapes through social media. From first single Labanta to albums Hard Work Pays Off 1 and 2, they broke record after record. Their music is a sizzling mixture of hiphop and their roots from Cape Verde, Curaçao and the Dominican Republic, and it deals with everyday stuff like football, parties and women.
