The sound of the Egyptian revolution comes straight outta Tilburg, Holland. It's electro-Chaabi, an over the top mix of broken hip-hop beats, Arabic folk music and electro all played with a punk energy. This is the sound the Egyptian youth listen to, and this three-piece from Tilburg are the first curators outside of Egypt to play this kind of music. Their various mix-tapes have gained the attention of countless blogs and several international newspapers, from Egypt to Scotland and the US.
