Catherine Graindorge is a Brussels-based violinist, viola player, composer and actress. She has built her career by mixing disciplines, creating theatre performances as a writer and actor, and composing music for herself and others. She worked with international artists like Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Mark Lanegan, Debbie Harry and Pascal Humbert (16Horsepower). Her latest album, ‘Eldorado on tac:tyl’ (2021) was produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey). In September she released the EP ‘The Dictator’ with Iggy Pop. Catherine's music is a kind of psychedelic soundtrack: an immersive, intense and drone-like soundscape charged with underlying tension, that seems ready to erupt like a volcano.
