The Isle Of Wight is much more than the island where the famous festival takes place, the birthplace of Level 42's Mark King or the island of The Bees. Now there's another band from there called CHAMPS. There is a connection to The Bees, in that Bees drummer Tom Gardner plays bass in CHAMPS, alongside brothers David and Michael Champion. The dreamy first single St. Peters is beautiful, vulnerable, dreamy folk topped off with the very special singing of David Champion, a truly remarkable voice. They won't be able to keep up the mystery angle though. Once their debut album is out at the beginning of 2013 a lot of people are going to want to know everything about CHAMPS.
