The circumstances for starting this band were far from ideal for this three-piece from Paris, but the obstacles made their will to succeed even stronger. They started Cheveu during a boring, hot summer in de mid 00's with a cheap Casio, a broken microphone and a wooden guitar. Their only goal was to become a loud rock band. With sheer determination and a no-complain attitude, they eventually released a 7" in 2006, before setting off for a US tour, where they played with Jack Oblivian and Jay Reatard at Gonerfest. Two more US tours and European tours followed with various support gigs for Animal Collective and the Black Lips.
