Chica Chica is an electrifying Dutch band fronted by bass player Judith Renkema, known for her work with Alvaro Soler, Komodo and Judy Blank. The band is inspired by psychedelic cumbia records, exotic film scores and disco grooves. The sound of wah-wah and surf guitars contrast with the melodic bass lines and smooth percussive rhythms transporting you to a 70s heist movie or a dreamy road trip. Their debut album saw the light in October via LAB Music and is produced by Simon Akkermans and (drummer) Gino Bombrini.
