The four-piece band that is Cosmic U plan to take you deep into their universe, and only they know exactly what it looks like over there. The euphoric Baroque post-rock formation from Leeuwarden is centred around singer Hiltje Andringa. She aims to lift her listeners up from the ground towards the cosmos with Cosmic U's atmospheric, enchanting music. But not for too long, with a quick snap of the fingers she will put you back on the ground. After several writing sessions on the idyllic Dutch island of Vlieland, the band recorded their debut album, Constructed Land. It was released in March 2013.
