According to the band information Dan San is from Liège, but the musicians in Dan San are more fond of the countryside around the Belgian city than the urban parts. The band loves to sing about the birds and the bees in their indie folksongs, it's folk with a light touch, in the mould of Grizzly Bear, Syd Matters and Fleet Foxes, where instruments like the violin, cajón and mandolin play an important part.
