The exhaust pipe of the Seat 1430 in which these King Gizzards from Guadalquivir have been travelling has been spitting out psychedelic fire for over two years and now even Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba themselves can’t stop it. In 2020 they wanted to cross borders to push their brand of ‘kinkidelia’, a fusion of the Andalusian rock tradition and the legacy of Led Zeppelin, but hey, 2020, what can we say! Then 2021 saw the release of second album ‘Hilo Negro’, which went up to number 1 on the vinyl chart in Spain.
