Dope D.O.D. is a band that manages to put the feeling of 2012 into music. There is tension and danger in both their sound and their appearance. Not just a Dutch band that tries to make it in other countries but an international band operating from The Netherlands. They made a triumphant appearance last year in their own town Groningen. They performed twice, both on Eurosonic as Noorderslag. Once in Simplon, once at the Oosterpoort, both times with the crowd going wild. What happened? Their mixture of dubstep, drum & bass, rave and hip hop made them conquer the whole world. Their dark music landed them a spot as support for Limp Bizkit and Korn which brought them to places not many Dutch bands have seen. Dope D.O.D. can't be compared to much other bands, not in music nor in appearance. The tension, danger and energy on stage can be found in the songs as well. It is the feeling of right now put into music. Just like Noisia they travel the world and have become not just a Dutch band trying to make it in other countries but an international band operating from The Netherlands.
