East of My Youth is an Icelandic duo (Thelma Marín Jónsdóttir & Herdís Stefánsdóttir) that plays melodic, electronic pop, likes both Grimes and Lana Del Rey and draws its influences from various genres and moods. The Nordic music platform Jajaja commented that listening to East Of My Youth is "as sensual and addictive as getting your tongue frozen to a glacier of pure honey". Debut single Mother was followed by an equally seductive debut EP.
