Effi is the one man orchestra of Thomas Petrisch from Graz, Austria. When asked he claims to be a singer-songwriter, but Effi has got more to offer than just his voice and a guitar. In his shows he uses a laptop and a loop machine. Electronic music, jazz, reggae and drum & bass, you can all hear it on his debut album Astronaut from 2011. While recording this album he played guitar, ukelele, bass, drums, keyboard and harmonica. For live shows jazz drummer Roland Hanslmaier and bass player Martin List join him. It's the kind of music you love to take with you when you have some time to spend in a space station.
