Electric Eye would be a great name for a Judas Priest tribute band. But no, this Electric Eye is a four-piece from the Norwegian city of Bergen and has little to do with Rob Halford and his band mates. Instead, these guys search for common ground between psychedelica, groovy drones, blues and space rock, bringing them on the same page as Wooden Shjips, Black Angels and The Warlocks. They released their debut album Pick-up, Lift-off, Space, Time in April, before setting off on a Scandinavian and Portuguese tour. The band consists of members of The Alexandria Quartet, The Megaphonic Thrift, Low Frequency in Stereo and Hypertext.
