Electric Tears singer Niels de Wit, who is also the main songwriter, used to be a punk rocker. That was until he decided he needed some pop, so he teamed up with three musicians in his hometown of Hoorn in the north of Holland. Hoorn is also the hometown of famous Dutch musician Tim Knol who endorsed the band and was hugely enthusiastic about their first single Bloodshed Eyes, and Don't Ask Me Why. To play at Noorderslag is a first dream to come true.
