Enola Gay is a Belfast-based noise-punk 4-piece formed in late 2019. Venomous, uncompromising hip-hop-inspired vocals and unforgiving guitars, layered on a rhythm section that draws as much from left-field electronica and techno as it does from late 70s post-punk heroes. Their ‘Girl Band meets IDLES’ sound has drawn widespread acclaim, culminating in gigs at Ireland Music Week, Eurosonic, and SXSW. They dropped their debut EP in October 2021, recorded with Chris W Ryan, before embarking on a 2021 Winter Irish Tour with a Spring Tour across the UK in 2022.
