With a voice that has the soul of blues and the gravelly tones of Tom Waits, young Fil Bo Riva strikes you immediately. You could call the 26-year-old a 'true European'. He is half-Italian, hailing from Rome, grew up in Ireland and took off to Berlin, where he learned his craft busking in the streets. There Filippo Bonamici, the voice behind Fil Bo Riva, met like-minded guitarist Felix A.Remm and producer Robert Stephenson (Mighty Oaks). PIAS released their debut EP in September, 2016. They have released three hot singles since then, leading up to the much anticipated debut album.
