When we googled this 21-year old producer/dj from Groningen, we discovered that he's "a rhapsody of neurohop, drumstep and electro". It's not your everyday description but it's well known among partygoers in the north, as Former is often on the line-up of various parties in and around the city, including the Noisia Invites events. After making dreamy minimal music and playing a bunch of techno-parties, he stopped using his high tech equipment and opted for a low end computer, using it to make neuro/drumstep/drum 'n bass-related music. It resulted in a trademark sound that sees his reputation rising.
