Girls Names
ESNS: 2013
They said Girls Names captured the sound of Belfast in 2011 with their record Dead To Me. Although the band rather likes to look at London and the US. That first album was inspired by surf and indie pop, a year later they have shifted their sound towards krautrock and psych, towards Echo and The Bunnymen, The Birthday Party and David Bowie during Low. This new sound can be heard on album A Troubled See. They have played the new material on Primavera and supporting Cloud Nothings and Beach Fossils. Girls Names is the band everybody is talking about.
