The Netherlands was introduced to Idaly through one of the members of New Wave, the collective that won the Pop Prize. In 2016, his solo debut was released by Top Notch, and it's the personal side in his lyrics that makes Idaly Faal so pure. For example, the album 'Betty' (early 2023) is an ode to his deceased grandmother. On the record Idaly links his sensitive side to R&B influences, while latest EP 'Nachten Als Dit' is aimed at the true hip hop lover and also features Afro influences.
