Ivo Dimchev first gained a reputation as a choreographer, dancer and performance artist, while his songs were ornaments for his dance and theatre works. Then in 2016 as an experiment he presented fifteen songs together in concert. The ornaments turned out as examples of great songwriting and became his first album. On his 2017 album Sculptures, Dimchev produced a dance production with four dancers which premiered at Vienna’s National Theatre. Since then he has given concerts in many countries drawing on a songbook of over fifty songs.
