The seductive song Come is the perfect introduction to the uplifting oeuvre of Jain. Multi-culturalism is the standard for the singer with roots in Madagascar, who was born in Toulouse, moved to Dubai and then to Congo where she began experimenting with music while at high school. She returned to France for art school and fused the music from her youth (French techno, Arabic percussion, African rhythms) into her own style. Her first EP Hope (2015) contains Come and Makeba, about South African singer and civil rights icon Miriam Makeba. It has since earned her a lot of airplay and international recognition. Debut album Zanaka followed in November 2015 and was certified gold in France in February 2016.
