Karsu Dönmez (Amsterdam, 1990) is a Turkish-Dutch singer-musician from Amsterdam. While her music style is a blend of various genres, jazzy pop is probably the best description. By the age of 14 she was making a name for herself by performing at her parents' restaurant. She came to prominence after performances at the Carnegie Hall in New York and several appearances on Dutch television. Her debut album ‘Confession’ came out in 2012 and follow-up ‘Colors’ (2015) won her an Edison Award. Recent singles like ‘Je Suis Malade’ (duet with Belle Perez) landed her at number 1 in the charts of The Netherlands and several other countries.
