South London rapper turned award-winning spoken-word poet Kate Tempest has returned to her roots with Everybody Down, a hip hop album that track by track paints a gritty picture of urban life through the intertwining lives of protagonists Becky and Harry. What shines through is Kate's use of language, a marriage of rich poetic imagery and bubbling hip hop clout. Everybody Down was nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize in 2014.
