A lot can happen in a year. Last January Kodaline visited Groningen, to play at Eurosonic Noorderslag. Shortly after they set off on an extensive European tour filled with festival dates, released a successful debut album and have just finished a North-American tour. From early on it was clear Kodaline were bound to be something great: Before they were known as Kodaline the Irish foursome made history in Ireland by being the first unsigned band ever to have a number 1 hit with Give Me A Minute. They have a knack for writing good pop songs, as their debut album In A Perfect World proves. It's chuck-full of melancholy popsongs in the line of Coldplay and Keane that stick in your head for days.
