L.A. stands for Luis Alberto Segura, a renowned Spanish musician who deserves a bigger audience in the rest of Europe. Although Segura is influenced by The Beatles and Pearl Jam, you also hear swinging guitar and Latin pop in the music of his five-piece band Segura. And there is always sunshine in the songs of this native of Mallorca. With four albums under his belt the group traveled to the other L.A., Los Angeles, to record a new album in sunny conditions. On King Of Beasts, Segura opts for a more easy going, melodic and catchy sound.
