Inspired by the bands, Kraftwerk and The Velvet Underground, keyboard player Sacha Got and guitarist Marlon Magnée formed La Femme in 2010. The duo started playing shows with the songs they had written in their former band, Garageband. More members joined the band after Sacha and Marlon played at a big surf festival and La Femme became a collective of eight musicians. As the number of band members increased, the amount of genres they incorporated into their songs grew as well. Their sound ranges from 60's French Yéýe pop to California surf, psychedelica and John Carpenter soundtracks. They've made two hypnotic, sun-filled EP's and in April they released one totally unique debut album, Psycho Tropical Berlin.
