Lange Mannen Met Haast (Tall Men in a Hurry) is a band that takes you into narrative, Dutch-language music for listening. Guitarist Joost Meijer and percussionist Joek Parmentier make the audience smile, weep and everything in between with playful music and heartfelt lyrics. Their songs are about everyday experiences such as small parties, longings, loss, a hammock in France and a crossword puzzle book. The duo draws inspiration from musicians such as Spinvis and Lucky Fonz III, and released their new EP "Kleine Schilderijtjes" in March 2023.
