Finnish Laura Naukkarinen, better known as Lau Nau, is not the kind of artist that does extensive tours. Her huge musical talent and adventurous spirit allow her to make beautiful albums and do impressive shows, even so, she doesn't perform often. But when she does, she makes an big impression, The Wire added a 2005 concert by Lau Nau to their list of the 60 Concerts that shook the world. She makes folksongs with an ethnic vibe, full of isolation, mystery and of course beauty. After a break from working she is now back with new music and a few select shows.
