It was in 2001 that Ketil Jansen and Ulrik Denizou Lund, both just 19 years old, decided that they wanted to make music together. The duo from Oslo, Norway came from different directions. Ulrik with a background in rock/indie bands and Ketil with a background in electronic music. Together they shared a love for bands like Daft Punk, Röyksopp, Justice, The Strokes, Ratatat, Phoenix, Noisia and Deadmau5. Lemaître's music sounds like the happy marriage between indie and dance. Danceable and also with swing, sometimes rock and an extra dimension because of Ulrik's singing. Even though the band is very new, they are already loved by the blogs. As they should be.
