Lena Hessels released debut EP Billow in 2018, the recording featuring eight passionate, thrilling songs that combined spoken word and singing, samples, guitar and home-made instruments. It was recorded in isolation which resulted in a dark vibe. Happy music doesn’t appeal to the daughter of The Ex guitarist Terry. No polished or over produced songs, but pure and honest, fragile and with a touch of aggression.
