M-Band is a solo-project by Hörður Bjarnason from Iceland. His music combines beat driven nu-electronica with a distinctive vocal style, which lends a tender edge to a body of work that has variously been described as atmospheric, captivating and dreamy. Drawing on the many corners of contemporary electronica, he builds songs from minimal clicking rhythms, whispers of ambient sound and haunting melodies, peppered with swells and crescendos.
