Marinho was born in Lisbon and raised in front of a TV watching American cartoons and 90s movies. She now tries to come to terms with what lies between overly romanticized expectations and real non-sitcom life. Resolutions come in the form of indie folk songs written over the years. These songs are collected on her debut album ‘~’ ('tilde'), released in the fall of 2019. Always earnest, always relatable, this set of deeply personal and confessional songs will undoubtedly cement her growing reputation.
