Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy have been active in the dance world since the nineties. In 2010, they decided to work together on a new project Mononoid. Their first release Protoplasm on the German techno label Traum Schallplatten was a step in the right direction. Traum has since released five EPs. The now well-known cinematographic music was quickly picked up. With additional releases on labels such as Lost & Found, Click Records, Einmusika, Monique Music, Trapez and remixes for artists such as Max Cooper, Ryan Davis, Microtrauma, Zonderling, Seawaves, alongside a residence in one of Berlin's most famous clubs Sisyphos, you could say that Groningen-bred Mononoid has garnered a solid spot within the competitive dance industry.
