Octa Push fuse music from the Portuguese speaking word (Angola, Bissau, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Portugal, and Sao Tomé) with electronic sounds. This unique sound and a live show with eye-catching visuals has taken the duo from Lisbon to Barcelona's Sonar Festival, RBMA Barcelona, Amsterdam Dance Event, Nos Alive, Rock in Rio Lisboa, and the legendary Fabric club in London. Their second album Lingua came out in September last year and pays tribute to 40 years of 'Portuguese' styles like Afro house, kuduro, fado, semba and morna.
