Opera Alaska is the new project of Moss frontman Marien Dorleijn and guitarist Marzio Scholten, a bundling of forces that results in strong indie pop songs with dreamy melodies and occasional danceable grooves. The two musicians ran into each other in 2017 in Ikea, discovered a common love of songwriting and gear, and the rest is almost history. Summer 2020 saw the release of debut album The Stream, with eleven tracks recorded over five sessions.
