It may not be the first thing you think of when confronted with old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material, but this material is a goldmine for great concerts. At least it is once it is placed in the hands of the British duo Public Service Broadcasting. They are J. Willgoose on guitars, banjos, other stringed instruments and electronic things, and Wrigglesworth on drums, pianos and electronics. They use old electro, breakbeats, synth pop and even some indie rock, basically whatever fits the information films. Public Service Broadcasting is completely unique and very impressive. This is the kind of propaganda we want to see on a daily basis.
