The four men that make up Reverend Shine Snake Oil Co. collectively moved to Copenhagen six years ago - that's quite a career move. The band formed in the Big Apple, where they reached back to the foundations of pop music: pre-war folk, ancient gospel, blues from the cotton fields and rhythm & blues make up their musical DNA. In the Danish capital they quickly gained a following with their remarkable sound from long years past. Their debut album, the New Gospel for the Wayward was released in October, followed by a European tour.
