Straddling the boundaries between bluegrass, country, funk, trash, southern rock and rockabilly, amongst others, Reverse Cowgirls clearly have a unique sound. Another unique thing about this band is that musicians Joost Dijkema en Michiel Hoving play the guitar while at the same time operating the drums. In November 2012 the band became a trio, with Harry Kingma on contrabass. Their latest LP Bucking was released in September 2014.
