Richie Campbell's reputation has been on the rise ever since he entered the Portuguese reggae scene in 2004. The rapper from Lisbon started out his career in the band Stepacide, before joining No Joke Soundsystem. He's been featured on countless mix tapes and riddims by renowned soundsystems like Soundquake, Mighty Crown and City Lock. Famous musicians like Alborosie and Ky-Mani Marley liked the young, clear sound of Campbell's vocals so much that they asked him for a feature as well. After so many turns working on other's records it was time to make his solo-debut: My Path was released last year. It mixes reggae, soul and dancehall like no other.
