Her name sounds like one you would encounter in fairytales, and that's exactly what her music sounds like too as it's exciting, enchanting and a bit dark. This singer-songwriter from Amsterdam writes songs in Dutch that don't sound Dutch. The warm soundscapes of her music work brilliantly with her remarkable lyrics. You can definitely hear the influences from the 90's Bristol sound of Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky. After graduating at the Den Haag conservatory in 2010 she quickly gained experience by playing various theaters and festivals both in Holland and abroad. Her debut album Als Ik Kijk is set for release in January.
