What would it sound like if Captain Beefheart made a record with Tom Waits and Mark Eitzel? We'll never know for sure, but the result may sound a lot like this Spanish band. This group,based in Barcelona, combines electric guitars with traditional folk instruments and samples, electronic wizardry, stop-start rhythms and a love for improvisation. The five members like to surprise both themselves and each other, resulting in music that asks a bit more from the listener, but also gives a lot more in return. Seward's first EP titled, 'Home Chapter One' was released in 2011. It's follow up release, 'Home Was A Chapter Twenty Six' will be out in Feb 2014. An extensive European tour is scheduled for 2014 including shows at Exit Festival, Pohoda festival and Sziget festival.
