This is what you get when an MC and a trumpet player meet. Funk and hip hop came together when trumpetist Luuk Hof and MC Tijmen Sissing started listening to each other's music collections. They became Skunkfunk, a band from the Dutch city of Hengelo with two MC's, a brass section and a rhythm section of four. They have been compared to Kyteman and Chef'Special, but it's better to say that it's hip hop in Dutch combined with tight and groovy funk.
