Since the release of their debut Heimat in 2011, SVIN have made a positive impression on the international music scene, touring heavily all over Europe and Russia. The trio has an unorthodox approach to instrumental music. They celebrate freedom in music and hail independence, love and limitless diversity in art. Their last album was recorded at the legendary Sundlaugin Studio, established by Sigur Rós, and it sees SVIN moving across the borderlands between abstract rock, drone-based folklore and ambient noise.
