Named the most exciting new band to come out of the northern province of Friesland for some time, The Future's Dust first EP Marrakech comes highly recommended. The young five piece (one woman, four men) from Leeuwarden are praised for their atmospheric sound with international potential. Inspired by bands like James Blake, The xx, Alt-J and Bon Iver their layered songs are a mixture of echoing guitars, hollow drums, whispered male/female vocals and ambient synths.
